About DAF
Starting in July 2023, the ISOA Dynamic Advantage Fund (DAF) has been a personal project to set up a factor-based strategy and aim to generate consistent alpha over any 3-5-year horizon. Primarily focused on the Indian equity landscape, with some diversification into international equities, gold, and cash/money markets, DAF reflects my ongoing exploration of investment strategies.

The motto is clear: Small disciplines repeated with consistency, every day. Outcomes will follow suit.
Vision
The DAF is a medium for me to articulate my investment journey, build a credible track record, refine my investment skills and foster meaningful discussions around investment philosophies and strategies. All while continuing to find ways to generate alpha.
Investment Style
ISOA DAF follows a bottom-up selection approach with some top-down sector exposure capping. While the ISOA DAF strategy's opportunity set is largely benchmark driven, the sector allocation is not.
The investment style revolves around taking positions in the best relative value companies on the basis of three key factors- Business quality, valuations and market behaviour.
All things equal, lower the business quality, more comfort needed in valuations and market perception to make an allocation and vice versa.
